What Is The Sign Of Frostbite On A Dogs Paw Possibly Frostbitten Puppy Paw?

Possibly frostbitten puppy paw? - what is the sign of frostbite on a dogs paw

We have our dog, ill 2 months ago in a house. It is always protected his two front paws. Almost always found on 3 legs instead of 4.

We can not cut the nails, we can not even see the legs, he looks attempt to see us, they bite, in the face and thrown into the cage.

Today, in the snow, ran and played for about 5 minutes or less, when we arrived, he showed me the inside leg, and shouted for several minutes. I do not know what to do because it would not let me touch his paws. I tried to warm the area, but the runs and bites into his cage. She walks normally, but I fear that she is in pain again.

Is this a sign of frostbite?

No, it can have tender feet, so they were cold, the skin is very dark (dead tissue)

Freezing tissue is not really healthy. The tissue dies and turns black. Usually occurs after the ears, toes and tails of dogs / cats usually end in amputation or debridement of necrotic tissue. So, if you had been frozen before, it would be very obvious.

You can check your vet if there is nothing wrong physically, you need to ask may be a behavioral researcher.

awww poor, the most cold feet before and are very sensitive. Take her to the vet and they can see the legs so that they can help. I think you can save a wonderful person with this poor dog from a bad one at home, lucky to have someone like you have to look after her.

Do not think they could have done that fast freezing, but it sounds as if something goes wrong with your foot. You need to have it seen by a veterinarian. So make sure to warn them about their behavior, if it touch his feet, so they know how they react.

If your dog is in that much pain, why should not a vet?

You just said, is still only 3 meters .... When I saw a dog do what a sign that your leg may be injured ... any way the dog to the vet, because you know for the "last 20" minutes. "
